Description
GitPlugin 0.11 now requires Python 2.5. This is a problem for anyone running current version of RHEL, CentOS, etc. only support Python 2.4. If the requirement for Python 2.5 is based on syntactic sugar only, I suggest modifications to make this only require Python 2.4

I agree with ticket-starter: need to support Long Time distros (like Ubuntu LTS, RHEL/CentOS, SLES, etc). Usually, people don't install on servers packages with latest versions - much important stable packages rather than 'newest'.
... And usually git and trac placed on servers... ;)
