ICQ notification plugin

Description
I think it will be useful to implement ICQ (or Jabber/AIM/etc) notification. Perhaps using some third-party open-source utility like micq. Or maybe not, I don't know much about Python IM extensions.
At least, my managers frequently ask me to make ICQ notofication. %)

gozerbot is being used by the trac team itself on freenode's #trac channel, it basically monitors the timeline rss feed and spits any changes into the chat. Works great, and I suggest setting that up instead.

As of today I guess ICQ is quite dead, XMPP/Jabber would be the open alternative. But I would anyway rather think about RSS to have a desktop ticker with the latest notifications.
If you use ICQ client Miranda IM, or Miranda Plus you can use this RSS reader plugin for Miranda: RSSNews plugin http://addons.miranda-im.org/details.php?action=viewfile&id=409
