FakeUsernamePlugin doesn't seem to work seemlessly with EmailtoTracScript

Description
Not sure whose ticket this should be: We're running trac 0.10.2 and have been using the EmailtoTracScript without problems. However, once FakeUsernamePlugin is installed, emails set to trac do still get turned into tickets but there is no notification email to the user and the following error is logged:
email2trac: File "/usr/lib/python2.4/site-packages/TracFakeUsername-1.0-py2.4.egg/fakeusername/filter.py", line 51, in ticket_created raise TracError('Penguins on fire: Unable to extract req')
Any ideas?
