[Patch] Branch to allow for querying databases other than the local one

Reported by: Ben Miller Owned by: Ryan J Ollos
Priority: normal Component: WikiTableMacro
Severity: normal Keywords:
Cc: ben@… Trac Release: 0.12

Description

Hi,

We had a requirement to query other databases, so I have written a branch that enables this using DSNs configured in trac.ini

The code can be found here: http://github.com/isotoma/trac-WikiTableMacro/

Let me know if it's any use, or you have any objections/suggestions.

Cheers

Thanks for providing the code. I'll take a look in the coming weeks and see whether we should add it as a 0.12 version, or as a special branch.

It's really a very good enhancement. I would like to have it for 0.11.x version also.

Is this possible?

I changed from trac 11.7 to trac 11.2. A version for 0.11.X it's not necessary.

Resolution: wontfix
Status: newclosed

Closing as out-of-scope for this macro. However, if someone prepares a patch against the WikiTableMacro codebase and is willing to iterate on it, I'd be happy to work with you to integrate the change.
