Installation on 0.11 fails

Reported by: divamys Owned by: Russ Tyndall
Priority: highest Component: TimingAndEstimationPlugin
Severity: normal Keywords:
Cc: Trac Release: 0.11

Description

Hi,

I tried to install the plugin on 0.11 but I end up with console message "Installed"(using easy_install) and the plugin is not listed in the administration page.

To be sure my installation procedure is correct I tried to install other plugins as well and that was successful :-|

As I have no experiences with trac what so ever, and so I would like to ask where to start some investigation (some error logs...).

Thanks in advance for any help

Hmmmm.... I thought we had most of the bugs out of that, but as its a moving target, its tough to keep up.

  • Trac Logging will tell you everything you need to know about logging.
  • Once you have the log, please attach it to the ticket, this should help me debug whats going on.
  • Please also post what OS, revision of trac 11 you are using and what dbbackend and version you are using.

Thanks

Russ

I have the same issue. I am on fedora 7, using python2.5, trac from the trunk today (upgraded from 10.4) and using the pluging from http://trac-hacks.org/changeset/latest/timingandestimationplugin/branches/trac0.11?old_path=/&filename=timingandestimationplugin/branches/trac0.11&format=zip

The log file is attached.

Sorry, I missed some other tickets. Looks like I hit the Genshi 0.4.4 bug.
